Meeting Needed on 2012 State Tournaments

Per OHSWPC Bylaws - Article One, Section 5:
"Special meetings of the membership may be called by the President
or upon the call of at least two members of the Board of Directors."

A special meeting has been called for the 1st week of December, 2011
to decide the future state tournaments in light of mistakes made this season.
This needs to be done this winter, prior to leagues planning their 2012 seasons

Both sets of state tournaments for 2011 are repeats of the 2009 tournaments.
A 3 year rotation was not adherred to and, worse, was changed in season
The good news is that the obvious 2012 match-ups will not have played in 5 years

My Updated Proposal for Representative OHSWPC Board

Oregon high school water polo has grown tremendously over the last 20 years
The governing board should be chosen as representatives, instead of statewide
This can be voted on as a sponser's update of a currently tabled amendment

6 regions below would each select 2 representatives to the OHSWPC Board
This board of 12 would chose ALL governing officers from among themselves
Alternatively, the President could be elected state-wide as a 13th Board member
