Summit HS combines with Bend Senior HS for some district water polo games
Practices began Mon, Aug 21st at the Juniper Pool from 7:15-9:15pm

Participation fee is $130 for all sports at Summit. Plus: fundraising activities
Incoming 9th & 11th graders need a sports physical (or, if not one last year)

As only a 2nd year team, new players are needed to play varsity (i.e. letter).
The Summit boys can be one of the best teams in the state in a few years.
The boys do not have practice on Tuesdays. Players may come to make up missed days.
Currently, because of low turnout, there is no seperate girls team at Summit HS.
For now, girls will be part of the boys team and also combine with Bend's girls.
Most Tuesdays will be girls practices and have most Wednesday nights off.
A combination of soccer and basketball in the water, but physical like hockey
HS water polo rules (NFHS) are almost the same as the International FINA rules
There is a goalie (like soccer) and 6 field players (who play offense & defense)
